	Since January 4th 2009 it has been a legal requirement as part of the Energy Performance in Buildings Directive 2002/91/EC to produce an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) for commerical propertities. Energy Performance Certificates are required whenever a building is new, old, leased or being purchased.

 

An EPC provides information on the energy efficiency and carbon emissions of a commerical building and is accompanied by a recommendations report detailing effective measures to improve our clients energy management and ultimately their building energy rating.

The energy certificate will provide a rating of the energy efficiency and carbon emissions of a building from A to G, where A is very efficient and G is very inefficient.

Using a network of assessors covering the UK, we have the ability to provide certificates for all commerical buildings. Opus are well placed to the meet the demands of the most technically challenging properties.
